Everything stops for snow

Snow in Portland

Today is our second snow day and the kids are home again. I figure I’ll get this blog started now. Portland doesn’t get much snow, so when we do everything shuts down. Check out this local news site for an amazing amateur video taken yesterday. The car must have hit five or six other cars before it stopped.

  1. I have seen this video way too many times. This 5 seconds was stretched in to a huge news story that rivaled the 5 seconds of Ronald Regan getting shot. We see the crash. We analyze the crash. We dissect the crash. Then we see it again, for those of you just joining us.
